Anaïs Nin.
Anaïs Nin: A ravishing beauty with a fierce intellect. She refused to fashion her femininity and sexuality around society’s expectations. As a kid, I had a cassette tape of Nin reading some of her stories. For the life of me, I still can’t bear to throw it out even though I don’t have anything to play it on. Her voice is so lush.
